Belated.
I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas, and for those of you who expressed desire to get something, that you received what you asked for...
For me, Christmas has changed from what it was years ago (counting presents and patting myself on the back for how much stuff I received, calling my friends that day or the next to see what we all got) into something much less selfish. Sure, I still hoped for something this year, but I feel much more satisfied that my boys seem to be content with what they have received. Conner hasn't put down his gameboy yet, except for the occasional hiatus to mold things out of playdoh, and Parker is doing his usual one toy to the next rotation, but only going after the new stuff. Seeing all of the family this year is certainly different than last year, where we saw no one but were invited to celebrate with a friend's family. I'm still not sure if it's cheaper to ship presents or deliver them in person, though
To all, whether you celebrate our Savior's birth or not, have a Merry Christmas, and a happy New Year, as well.
